Food Chain/Food Web Materials - Includes 10 Biomes!

The study of food chains and food webs helps to instill a greater understanding and appreciation for the interconnectedness and beauty of the natural world around us. Within this set you will find photo cards of producers, primary consumers, secondary consumers, tertiary consumers, and decomposers for the 10 different biomes (see contents below.) For each set, I’ve created label cards that identify the plant or animal’s biome and role within the ecosystem. The photo pages and label pages are formatted to be printed double sided for easy identification. The photos are also outlined with colors that help the child identify the corresponding biome. These colors align with my Climate and Biome material set. I’ve also included ”sun” cards and arrows of various sizes for food chain and food web construction. Remember that when constructing a food chain or web, the arrow points to the plant or animal that is receiving the energy.
